Trademark Investigations
By combining skilled research investigators and extensive databases, we determine the exact status of existing marks, who maintained first use of a trademark, evidence of how the mark is being used, how long the mark has been used, geographical scope of the use, whether the mark is currently in use and if not, how long it has been in disuse. We further assist clients in having the mark struck from the register or applying for its purchase. When attempting to acquire a trademark, Mega Group arranges concealed purchases to protect client interests.

MegaGroup assists brand owning clients in the identification and tracking of manufacturers, distributors and sellers of counterfeit, pirated or gray market goods. MegaGroup investigators ascertain the identification, background and associations of violators and conducts undercover field activities to identify product counterfeiting operations at the manufacturing, distribution, and retail levels. MegaGroup further conducts investigations into the sale of counterfeit or infringing products on the Internet, including those on websites and online auctions.
